GIMPEL THE FOOL This CD is a spoken word audio recording of the short story, GIMPEL THE FOOL, by Isaac Bashevis Singer.  Published in 1953, GIMPEL THE FOOL is a story about a man who believes what everyone tells him, to the point of gullibility.  He even knew it when people were pulling one over on him, but he figured, "Why shouldn't I believe?"  After a long life, he finally gets one over on everyone else, but you'll have to read it to find out what happens! Translated by Saul Bellow and narrated by Joseph Michael. I did this as a final project for my Contemporary American Literature class.  I had some of my family members and friends do the voiceovers for all of the characters and I included sound effects to liven things up a bit.
